Key West, Florida
Key West is the last island in an archipelago known as the Florida Keys, located on the southernmost tip of Florida and the continental United States. At about 6 square miles, this island is surrounded by the clear, warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. Only 90 miles from Cuba, the island emits a Caribbean feel that makes it a popular vacation destination. Since its founding in 1822, Key West has been home to famous and infamous characters.
